Welcome to the University of Providence. My name is Hope Gasvoda and today I will be giving you a tour of our campus.
This is our Student Center. So in this building is our cafeteria and our mailroom, as well as our Campus Ministry Office. And then on this bottom floor is our Career Services Center as well as our Student Activities Office and our esports room.
This is our library. So in this building is our faculty office suite as well as our Academic Success Center and our tutoring centers. We have over 10,000 books available to students physically and digitally.
This is the McLaughlin Center. This is the home of the Argos. We have a 1200-seat gymnasium inside, as well as a fitness center that's available for use by all of our students and faculty members.
This is the Trinitas Chapel. It features a lot of artwork of our beloved Sister Mary Trinitas. While we are a Catholic University, it is not a requirement to attend the university to be Catholic. We invite each of our students to attend Mass respectfully every Sunday, and we also invite the community to attend Mass.
Behind me is our University Center. So in this building is our Argos Central Office, which is our student support services, including Financial Aid, Admissions, Registrar, and Student Accounts. And also in this building is our Information Services Department.
This is Sullivan Hall. It's named after the three biological Sisters of Providence. It's our main classroom building on campus, especially for our non-science courses. It's also the home of our Veterans Center.
This is the Dirocco-Peressini Science Building. So in this building is our biology lab, our ecology lab, our chemistry lab, and our forensic science lab. We also have a couple of classrooms in this building. I actually have all of my classes in this building this semester.
Thank you for joining me on this tour. I recommend that you come see this campus for yourself, and I just might be your tour guide then too. Bye!
